Human Trafficking 101

Karla Solomon is the Director of Outreach & Training at Mercy Gate Ministries. Karla is accredited by the State Bar of Texas to provide Legal Education Credits to judicial officials. She is a Consultant for the Department of Homeland Security where she presents at national events. Karla supports DPS Agents, even collaborating with those who aided her own recovery.

She also serves on the Human Trafficking Survivor Leader Council for the Office of the Governor. Karla is dedicated to empowering survivors, urging them to boldly speak up in the face of injustice and share their stories.
